Welcome to Oceanus
We are a part of the Subs in Schools competition and we are making a Large ROV capable of going underwater, holding objects, and accomplishing various tasks. Our objective is to make the best ROV for the competition. We have designed our ROV complying with the principles of hydrodynamics and buoyancy. We have designed the ROV intricately with all the parts detailed at the level most and with the whole ROV designed to run the most efficiently. The Oceanus - Large ROV

This project consists of a Large ROV which is able to perform various functions. Our product consists of 8 main components - 2 Propellers, 2 Motors, 2 Propeller covers, a camera, a 12 V battery, a claw, an external cover and an efficient internal frame structure. Most of our design is inspired from natural animal structures, designs of famous structures and famous water crafts. All of the manufacturing has been performed by using CAD program and is completely 3D printed. All the parts have been run under a stress analysis to test their efficiency and the ROV has been passed under a compliance check twice. The whole structure has been passed through various other efficiency tests and has been thoroughly checked for safety. We are presenting our product in the Royal Adelaide Show on Tuesday.
